These direct incandescent replacement bulbs combine today\'s advanced Indium Gallium Aluminum Phosphide (InGaAlP) and Silicon Carbide/Gallium Nitride (SiC/GaN) Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology, the standard MR16 Bi-Pin base and a light-optimizing design. With a power draw of just 0.8 Watts - 4 Watts, an 11-year LED operating life and six sunlight-visible colors from which to select, solid-state TrackLEDs provide architects, retail store display creator, entertainment designers and other lighting professionals with the means to integrate ornamental illumination into maintenance-intensive applications.

Standard TrackLED lamps come in 12/14 volts DC. Custom voltages - 48 volts DC, 120 Volts AC and 240 Volts AC -- may be ordered with factory approval. TrackLEDs are designed to perform well in systems subjected to voltage dips or surges. Integrated current-limited resistors and polarity-protection diodes assure that no circuit modifications are required. TrackLEDs are available in 12, 24 and 42, 5mm discrete LED configurations. Individual high-intensity LEDs incorporate optical grade epoxy to produce bright vivid illumination. Colors available are Green (10,000mcd), White (6,000mcd), Blue (3,000mcd), Yellow (7,000mcd), Red (3,500mcd), and Orange (6,500mcd) as well as derivations of those colors. Additionally, with the use of multiple LEDs, an LED cluster lamp continues to provide light even if one or more emitters fail unlike when the filament breaks in an incandescent bulb.

Colored lenses or filters are not needed since LEDs emit colored light that is determined by the composition of the semiconductor material comprising the diode. Intensity and color remain stable over lamp\'s lifetime. TrackLED is an energy-efficient light source, saving 80% - 90% of energy costs compared to incandescent lamps. Cost savings are substantial because TrackLED lamps use very little energy and are virtually maintenance free.

Solid-state design renders LEDs impervious to electrical and mechanical shock, vibration, frequent switching and environmental extremes. With an average life span of 100,000-plus hours (11 years), LEDs operate reliably year after year and are appropriate for many applications. TrackLED is an ideal solution for decorative and night task lighting applications including large message panels, retail store displays, casino accent lights, theme and amusement parks, stage lighting, carnivals, theaters and ornamental lighting.
